I absolutely LOVE oxford style shoes, but sometimes my feet feel cramped. I tried on a few pairs of open toed versions the other day, but because the toe opening was so small, I felt like my first two toes were being pushed through a sausage maker! The fact that these have lots of room for exposed toes, while still keeping the sexy oxford styles, make them total winners.

You guys probably know I’m a huge green fan by now; this mint hue is so beautiful! Winter is a beautiful time for a pastel palette, so these are just perfect! However, if you’re not as big a green fan as I am, you can still grab a pair in black or plaid (another big trend right now).

I think I’m pretty sold on the bootie trend by now. However, I’m still picky as to which particular styles make the cut! I love blue shoes almost as much as I love green ones. I also prefer wedge heels, open toes, and delicate straps. So basically, this pair is a combination of all my most beloved shoe traits. Both the black and blue shades are available in wide widths, so I’ll probably grab a pair once I’m done Christmas shopping!

If my shoes don’t have a peep toe, a square front is my next choice. You can probably guess how much I love bows and dark red shoes by now, too! Oh, and you really can’t beat that price. A pair of Dr. Scholl’s inserts and I bet I could wear these all day!
American Eagle Riley Slouch Boot ($39.99)
I haven’t broken out my leather boots yet, but that doesn’t mean I’m not drooling over other pairs! Slouchy boots are my favorite, and the strap/buckle detail is really neat. I’m glad that the front isn’t pointed, because a high heel sliding my feet into a pointed wedge doesn’t come close to making my list of favorite things.
