Okay babes, here is another collection I am DYING to rock!
“While traveling in Russia recently, Chad was captivated by the exquisite architecture, the glow of White Nights and the mesmerizing landscape. He was so taken by the culture – rich in history and art – that he decided to create a makeup look that captures Russia’s magnificence.”
I’m not entirely sure who Chad is, but it looks to me like he did a great job! I’m in love with all three products.
First is the Ballet Russe Lipstick ($18.50). While you and I might not have gotten our hands on it yet, the expert’s have! This gorgeous lipstick is the winner of Allure Magazine’s 2008 Best of Beauty Award for the Best Sheer Lipstick. To be honest, I’m a little bummed that the lipstick is a sheer, however, for those of you who aren’t as thrilled with rocking the rock star lip as I am-this is a great option for you!
Next is the gorgeous Russian Blue Eye Shadow ($19.50). “This soft, icy blue grey was inspired by the decorative vaulted ceilings and friezes that adorn the palaces in St. Petersburg,” according to Three Custom Color. Once again, I think Chad really nailed it! The color really looks buildable, which is a nice feature in such an intensely colored shadow.
Last is the beautiful coppery Gilded Eye Shadow ($19.50). This shadow is my new obsession, and my favorite piece in the collection! $19.50 is a little steep, but if it’s really as gorgeous as the pictures imply…
So, what do YOU think?
