When I went to my mother’s house, I almost had a heart attack. On her counter were these mini Entenmann’s Cakes. I was so excited that they made mini cakes. I opened the box to find that Entenmann’s company has made candles. Although I was disappointed to not have a mini pumpkin and apple crumb pie, I was excited to try out the new candles.
As a candle lover, I have been on the search for the perfect pumpkin smell for my home. My search is over. The Spiced Pumpkin Pie candle from Entenmann’s actually smells like pumpkin pie! So many stores have this brutal after-smell in their pumpkin candles. It’s as if they were so quick to put them on the shelves in August that they didn’t try to create a good smell. Some fools will buy anything if it says “pumpkin†on it. Although sometimes I am that fool, I wasn’t this year.
The other candle my mother gave me was Entenmann’s Apple Crump Pie candle. I will probably burn this candle first, because September is more for “apple season.†It has a nice “spicy†smell to it that would be appropriate for fall and the Christmas season.
The candles burn well and powerful. My whole livingroom smelled like Apple Crumb Pie. The candles  come in a small ridged glass container. The cake box packaging is adorable. You can find out more about Entenmann’s products at their website, go to your local cvs or rite aid to see the store’s stock, or order the pumpkin candles from gianteagle.
