Beauty Tips from Shawn Johnson

If you watched the Olympics or are a Dancing With the Stars fan, you’re familiar with the adorable 19-year old Shawn Johnson. How could you not be?

“The youngest ever competitor on Dancing with the Stars, 17 year-old Olympian Shawn Johnson was the gold medalist in balance beam at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where she also earned 3 silver medals in the team, floor exercise and individual all-around categories. The current two-time National Champion and high-school Junior Johnson appeared on a limited edition Cheerios box in early 2009, led the pledge of allegiance at last year’s Democratic National Convention in Denver, was a headliner of last fall’s Tour of Gymnastics Superstars and was named Choice Female Athlete at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. Her debut biography Shawn Johnson: Olympic Champion: Stories Behind the Smile was released in December.”

Shawn Johnson’s Tips on How to Look Your Best in the Spotlight

1. 1. Wear something that you feel confident in! I love wearing bright colors like yellow since they really bring out my features and compliment my cheery personality.

2. 2. Find a lip color that brightens your smile and doesn’t wear off easily. My favorite is CoverGirl Lipstain in Berry Smooch (available at Drugstore.com).

3. 3. Have a go to hairstyle that you know will last through a long day or night. I love wearing my hair down with my bangs pulled back in a clip.

5. Smile! It’s your best accessory.
