Everybody is quick to put on orange nail polish, but I almost made a mistake. Nude nail polish is a gentle transition into autumn weather that doesn’t make you look like you’re about to put on a giant pumpkin costume. I noticed a trend on some of my favorite blogs, and I realized how perfect the color is for September. I know there is a lot of talk about what color “nude” is, because by definition, it should be someone’s skin color. Some companies are making a larger selection of “nude” skin tones. For all intents and purposes, I mean a nude nail polish that matches your natural glow.
The pro’s to nude nail polish. First, it literally goes with every outfit. Second: this color is allowed in almost every office. Some of my friends can’t keep up with nail trends, because their office has a dress code. For a few months, these women can revel in keeping up with the trend! Third, I like how classy the nails look. I mostly paint my nails, because its therapeutic. I also like my nails to look clean and presentable. Nude nails are a less dramatic way to present my nails every day.
I am currently wearing Opi’s Non Fat Soy Half Caff color. Although there are plenty of nude colored nail polishes in the world, I really like the quality and name of this product. Yes I know a name isn’t everything, but I love my coffee. Opi may be expensive, but I think any nail polish enthusiast knows that it is worth the money. I also wasn’t looking for pink-toned nude colored nail polishes. CoverGirl may also have an excellent selection.
If you aren’t ready for orange, please go nude (pun intended). Go on Amazon to find Opi’s Non Fat Soy Half Calf Nail Polish color. It looks so good with coffee selfies!
