Introductions

Hello Fashionable Gal readers!

My name is Kayla and I am a new contributing beauty writer for Fashionable Media. I love finding out about new products through friends I trust, and I hope to be that person for you. Here are some things you need to know about me: I’m a classics girl. I don’t usually jump on the trend train. Maybe it’s because I’m boring, or lack courage like some of you readers, but I like to think it’s because I’m just trying to channel my inner Chanel. I try to adhere to the fashion rules of the French. I’m also pretty simplistic in my makeup endeavors. I never leave the house without curling my lashes and applying  mascara, but I have yet to try a smokey eye. If there is one thing I learned from my grandmother, it’s to always have red lipstick and red accessories on hand. That woman was the Queen of red shoes, red purses, and leaving behind red kisses. I try to use products that are as natural as possible. Sometimes I even make my own concoctions with items from my kitchen. Strawberry Brown Sugar Scrub anyone? I am also a full-time graduate student, so money and time savers are at the top of my list. I’m excited to share the products I’ve been using lately. Keep your eyes open for my upcoming reviews.
