The Fashionable Housewife teamed up with TJ Maxx and Marshalls to offer 4 women mini makeovers for under $100. It was quite the mission to take all 4 women out shopping on the same day, but I managed to pull it off and video tape a little bit of our shopping experience!
First, I took Anne Marie and Bonnie to TJ Maxx and helped them both shop for new outfits. I stayed up all night long the night before and made notes about what types of clothes and colors would be best for each woman. Since I was running around the store looking for the perfect items for each person, I didn’t get as much video footage as I had hoped for, but you can see from the video that we had a lot of fun and they were super excited to show off their new looks!
If you couldn’t tell, it was my first time making a video! I hope you enjoy watching it anyway!!
I was able to help them both find new clothes and 1 complete outfit (including new shoes) that flattered their body shape all for under $100. How did I do it? Easy! TJ Maxx has a wonderful selection of clothing, all for way less than retail. Scour the clearance section for even more deals and steals.
TJ Maxx had a great selection and we were able to gather a bunch of fabulous items, try everything on in the dressing room, and still get out of the store in less than 2 hours! Luckily, I was very familiar with the layout of my local TJ Maxx since I go there at least once a month, so it was easy to find what I wanted for each person.
Anne Marie has a fabulous hourglass figure, so shopping for her was easy! She was able to get 4 tops, each for under $10. One top originally retailed for $98, and was on sale for only $5.00!! We also found her some hot snakeskin heels for only $30 and jeans that fit her perfect for only $16.
Bonnie is tiny and petite so shopping for her was a little more challenging. The Petite selection at TJ Maxx was slightly limited, especially in the smaller sizes, but we were able to get a fantastic deal on a gorgeous dress that was marked down to only $16.99. We also found her some cute shoes to match, 2 pairs of pants, and a couple tops, all for under $100. Wow!!
Both Anne Marie and Bonnie had a great time shopping and were super excited about their new clothes! I’m so happy that TJ Maxx worked with us on this fabulous experience and I hope you enjoy watching the video. Thank you to both TJ Maxx and Marshalls for sponsoring the makeovers!! Be sure to tell me what you think in the comments!
And if you like TJ Maxx, fan them on Facebook and then follow them on Twitter!!
Come back tomorrow morning at 8:00am to see the other 2 makeovers I did at Marshalls!
