Look What I Just Got!

I’m totally amazed by the new area I live in.  Going to the mall used to be a 45 minute drive, and getting to a MAC counter?  Near impossible.  Now, there’s an amazing mall just 5 minutes from me, and it’s totally packed with drool-worthy merchandise!  Yesterday, the boy and I went so I could get some refills at MAC (Hello, Plushlash and Technakhols!).  The latest snowfall reminded me that I TOTALLY need new sneakers, though, so I also stopped in Journeys.

I am so effing in love with these shoes!  The colors are way more vivid in person, and they’re so super-comfortable!  Journeys had TONS of cute sneakers, in a whole variety of prices, but I kept getting drawn back to these babies.  Finally, I asked to try them on.  Mostly it’s a pain to wear size 10 shoes, but in some cases-like this one-it pays off.  Since not a lot of people wear that size, shoes are rarely out of stock when I ask!

Anyway, here’s the major bonus:  someone had priced the shoes incorrectly.  They were marked at $49.99, but supposed to be $79.99.  The store honored the tag on them for me, although quickly fixed the mistake on the display pair!  If you’ve got an extra chunk of change to invest in shoes, I highly recommend these.  They also come in a light pink/blue/green combo.  Check out all of Journey’s DC stock online here!
