The washer/dryer combo that inhabits the basement of the apartment building next to me (we share) weirds me out. In fact, I haven’t even actually been down there, because wandering into a strange basement just doesn’t appeal to me. So, I’ve been saving up my laundry and taking it to my boyfriend’s house (I’m sure his parents love it!). This past week, I found a white t-shirt in with my clean laundry that wasn’t mine. I figured it was the boy’s, and threw it on with a pair of jeans one day. Oh my God. It was the softest, most perfect fitting, amazingly comfortable shirt EVER! Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of his dad’s undershirts (shhh, I’m keeping it!) so I can’t nab any more. AND the designer, John Weitz, seems to not be selling them anywhere else.
Not willing to give up, I looked for alternatives. I wound up on the website for Hanes, and then started browsing the men’s t-shirts. The photo above is the Hanes Classics ComfortSoft V-Neck Undershirt. Right now, you can pick up a pack of three on sale for $11.99 online. However, I went to Wal-Mart last night and got a five pack for only $9.50! Total score. I’m wearing one right now and you’d have to fight me to get me out of it. The fabric is soft, the shirt is loose without being baggy, there’s no tag… Oh, and the V-Neck style, which I think looks kind of strange on normal men (um, chest hair???) makes it a bit more feminine. Love it!
