There are few things more embarrassing than seeing friends or family for the first time in a while, then realizing that you’re not looking up to par! Thankfully, I’ve got a list of what to avoid. Read the entire article on MSN here, but read my favorite tips below!
–Slouching: No matter how well an outfit fits, it’s just not going to look as great as it could if you’re not standing or sitting up straight!
–Ignoring what’s underneath: A poor fitting bra or panties that create a visible line will ruin any outfit. And if you’re worried about any unsightly lumps or bulges, just remember: Spanx are your friend!
–Buying clothes that don’t fit: This can go two ways-either you buy clothes that are too big, or too small. If you’ve gone up a size and feel unhealthy, select a flattering outfit in a your new size so you can look good while you work on regaining your health! And if you’ve lost weight, don’t hesitate to show your new self off! No matter how big or small you are, wearing tent like clothing just isn’t flattering!
–Sticking to set outfits: While it’s easy to rely on old favorites, don’t be afraid to try new combinations! This is particularly true if you’ve added to your wardrobe lately; the new piece could work really well with clothing you didn’t even think about pairing it with!
–Becoming a fashion victim: I cannot stress this enough-ONLY FOLLOW TRENDS THAT SUIT YOU! It doesn’t matter if everyone’s raving about Lindsay Lohan’s leggings or leopard print; if those pieces don’t flatter you, don’t wear them! Instead, look for trends that DO flatter your body and make you feel great. The better you feel, the better you’ll look!

Vana, I love hearing success stories like that! I haven’t tried Sassybax before, but I’ll keep an eye out for any deals on their products. I have a simple corset type slimming garment from JCPenny but I’m looking for an upgrade!
