I am totally addicted to getting email updates from Smashbox! They always contain great pictures, insider updates, and of course, fantastic deals! I’ve been saving them up so that I can bring you one big Smashbox update… And here it is!
First off, oh my god! There has always been a section of “Beauty Secrets” on the Smashbox website, but now there’s a beauty secret section with videos that illustrate each technique! Eight are currently being offered (Bronze Beauty, Contouring & Highlighting, Day to Night, Everyday Eyes, Intense Smokey Eye, Better Off Red, The Perfect Canvas, and Modern Smokey Eye). Whether you’re a novice or a know-it-all when it comes to makeup, I highly suggest that you watch ’em all! Everybody can learn something knew; and just in case you don’t catch all the steps, there’s a play by play list right next to each video with reminders and specific product suggestions. Score!
When you’re on the site, don’t forget to check out the new collection of cheek colors, “Blush Rush.” I haven’t gotten my hands on any of them yet, but considering I’m about to hit pan on the cult favorite Orgasm blush, I really doubt these babies will do you wrong! I really have my eye on Crush; it looks like a great seasonal color (it’s the third from the left in the picture above)!
Something else to check out on the site: Smashbox has just released their “Holiday Rapture” and it’s BEAUTIFUL!
