Okay, okay, I’ll be the first to admit it. Although I’m really trying to support small businesses-particularly eco friendly ones-I find that far too often, I don’t know about the best ones until they contact me! Infusion Bath & Body is the newest fantastic find!
Before I even tried any of their products, I was impressed by the co-founders, Fran and Mike! According to their website, “Fran has 12 years experience as a Certified Aromatherapist, Aromatherapy & Facial Procedures Specialist, Oriental Diagnostic Consultant, Herbal Remedy Specialist and is certified in the Design & Production of Aromatherapy Skin Care Products.” Additionally, “Mike has been in the Chemistry and Engineering field for over 30 years and has specialized in Environmental Studies, Quality, Health and Safety. Mike has three patents and has won numerous company awards relating to environmental stewardship and Greenfield quality processes.” What more can you ask for?
But enough about that-let’s get on to the products!
Before I was even done looking at the samples, I slapped on a coat of Infusion’s Nourishing Lip Butter (in French Vanilla). I’m a complete lip balm addict, and even though I have a rather extensive collection, I’m always looking for a new favorite! Infusion’s lip butter totally fits the bill.
First off, the smell is delicious! And even if you’re not a fan of French Vanilla, there’s surely a scent for you: Chocolate Mint, Coconut, Ginger Peach, Orange Cream, and Sweet Berry are also offered! Better yet, you can try all of them for a mere $24!
The butter is soft and deliciously smooth; it feels absolutely heavenly on my lips. It has a great staying power and moisturizes quite well. My only problem is that I have a bit of trouble actually getting it out of the pot-twist up tubes are always my favorite. However, the slight inconvenience is definitely worth it!
Next up, I tried the Green Tea Shower Gel. I cannot get over how amazing it smelled!!! I don’t currently have a loofah and I hate taking wash clothes into the shower with me (there’s nowhere to hang them up for drying!) so I didn’t get as much lather as possible… However, I really enjoyed using it as a makeshift shaving cream. I followed it up with the Green Tea Body Milk, which banished any residual dryness. It also packed another bunch of the amazing Green Tea scent, which meant that I got soft whiffs of green tea all day long! Don’t worry if you’re not a green tea fan, though; once again, you have a ton of options! Among them, there’s not a single one that doesn’t sound great: Champagne, Deep Green Herbal, Espresso, Lemon Drop, Morning Mint, Oriental Mandarin, Sangria, Turkish Fig, and Vanilla.
My boyfriend got to try the Men’s Version of the body wash, which also works as a shampoo. His scent was Basil Lime (the men’s line also offers Espresso), and he’s absolutely over the moon for it. He does use a loofah in the shower, and said that the lather was amazing-that means that a little bit goes a long way! He also really enjoyed the level of scent. In his words, “[it] wasn’t overpowering, but it was still there.” He also loved that it didn’t dry his skin out like so many other bath products!
Next up was the Lavender Chamomile Cream Moisturizer from the Face The World line. This cream arrived just in time, as the weather is starting to hold a chill and my skin is beginning to dry out. The scent is truly beautiful, and the luxurious cream felt fantastic on my skin. Though it’s thick, sank right in and didn’t leave my face feeling greasy.
My only problem was that the moisturizer was just a tad too rich for the oily parts of my t-zone face. However, I have no doubt that the majority of this issue will go away in the next few months, when my face wants to crack and peel. The Cream Moisturizer will certainly be my skin savior!
Last, but surely not least, was the Peppermint Foot Cream. Yet again, I’m totally blown away by the fantastic scent! There’s nothing overbearing or artificial about it; rather, it’s probably the most clean peppermint smell of any product I’ve tried.
Even better than the smell is the feeling of the cream when applied. It’s amazingly cooling, and tingles in a completely non-obtrusive way. The feeling is spectacular, and the cooling effect is entirely pleasurable. Similar to the other products, the foot cream is rich without being too thick. It absorbs well and leaves my feet feeling moisturized and pampered.
Overall, I’m totally in love with Infusion Bath & Body! All of the products are very affordable, the company seems to be run by great people, and the entire package made me feel totally spoiled! I strongly advise you try out any of the products I mentioned above, or take some time to explore the site! There are so many more interesting products offered, and I highly suggest you take some time out to pamper yourself, particularly as the colder weather approaches!
After you check out the site, tell me what you think in the comments-particularly if you order!
