Remember those NADS hair removal strips I tried a few posts back? They’re now firmly on my shit-list. My face now looks like I spent some time making nice with an industrial strength sander. Oh so sexy. In any case, I reached for my new favorite product-DDF’s Sulfur Mask. My gorgeous Sephora Diva best friend sent me a sample along with my birthday presents (thanks babe!) and I’ve never been in a relationship that involved such strong love and lust.
The first time I applied this mask, I was having a run-of-the-mill breakout. Miss Sephora Diva had cautioned me that there was a strong smell that accompanied the mask, so I was prepared to gag a little bit as I opened the jar. Fortunately, I don’t seem to have a very sensitive sense of smell, and wasn’t bothered at all! Then again, my boyfriend wasn’t bothered either, so don’t let yourself be swayed away from this product by the word, “sulfur.” (Side note: For some reason, when I was in kindergarten I was pretty insistent that my father’s birth stone was sulfur. I told everyone.)
For your benefit, I did a little digging! According to healthvitaminsguide.com,
Now, back to DDF’s amazing mask: if you have even slightly trouble skin, you must own it! It has a wonderful creamy texture, dries quickly, and only needs to be left on the skin for 10 minutes! That’s pretty much enough time to give yourself a pedicure-or watch one third of a sitcom (apply at the first commercial break, rinse at the second)! The mask rinses of without much hassle, and left my skin feeling porcelain smooth. The best part? My skin was definitely clearer the next morning! My only suggestion-make sure you slather on an oil free moisturizer afterwards, or else you might feel a little dry and tight.
Smooth & Smiling,
